The Grande Onda in collaboration with leading Italian indie label (B.M. Records, Latlantide, Macro Beats, Reddarmy, Relief, VibraRecords) waiting for the first Medimex - MEI and the return of Hip Hop M.E.I. takes you on a musical journey within the first 5 editions of the event which saw perform and be officially awarded the best independent hip-hop made in Italy. In the full spirit of the event there are many important collaborations such as Bonnot (Assalti Frontali) with Caparezza, of Videomind with Roy Paci, of Patto MC with Co'sang and those hip hop with new leverage of our local reggae (Amir and Babaman, Turi and Gioman & Killacat). Among the 22 tracks, Io non rido unpublished by Piotta. The symbolic images of the street videos, crossover sounds and the antagonistic lyrics rapresented its last production in anticipation of the release of the next album (Spring 2012). Tommaso Piotta Zanello is the creator of Hip Hop M.E.I. and artistic director with G. Sangiorgi of Audiocoop. The project Hip Hop MEI 5.1 will be available digitally in exclusive partnership with iTunes from 2011-11-15.
